Too Chicken to Plunge Raffle & 50/50 Draw

50/50 RULES OF PLAY

1. The 50/50 is open to the public and subject to Provincial Laws and Regulations.

2. You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of Ontario

3. The 50/50 Tickets will be sold online using Raffle Nexus Canada Inc

4. You must purchase a 50/50 ticket to qualify. Ticket draw will be Monday, March 9th, 2026.

5. Ticket prices: 5 for $10, or 50 for $20, or 150 for $50, or 300 for $75, or 700 for $100.

6. AII participants will have their name and phone number recorded online.

7. The amount of the 50/50 jackpot will be updated in real time online. Raffle Nexus Canada Inc is the online platform being used to manage the 50/50 and will host the random draw electronically.

8. Winnings will be paid by cheque.

9. Winner will be determined through Raffle Nexus Canada Inc using an online random number system.

10. Winners will be contacted using the information they provide at the time they purchased the ticket.

11. Winners will be contacted by phone and/or email. Once the winner has been contacted and the winning ticket has been verified a cheque will be issued in their name and sent to the address provided at the time they purchased the ticket. Winners do not need to pick up their prize in person, it will be mailed or emailed to them.

12. The winners name will be announced by email to all ticket purchasers for the draw. Winners will also be announced on the Special Olympics – Sudbury Facebook page.

13. Any prizes not claimed will be secured for a period of six months from the date of the draw. Every reasonable effort to contact the winner will be made, including: attempting to locate the winner using the contact information provided on the ticket stub, by sending a registered letter and telephoning the individual. If the winner cannot be reached, the licensee must advertise in local newspapers of the winner that cannot be reached and/or radio stations within 120 days following the draw, setting out a list of the name and city of residence the winner of the unclaimed prize.

14. Any prizes not claimed after six months, will be donated to a beneficiary approved by the licensing authority.

15. By buying a ticket, you agree to have your name, ticket number and Jackpot Prize published.

16. You must be 18 years of age to purchase a ticket or win a prize

17. Please keep your receipt - In the event of a disagreement in the Draw, precedence will be given to the original receipt issued.

19. Regulations prohibit the following persons and their immediate families residing in the same household from purchasing a ticket: Special Olympics – Sudbury Board of Directors and Staff employees of Raffle Nexus Canada Inc. and members of licensed gaming suppliers providing services to the Lottery.

PRIZE RAFFLE RULES OF PLAY (Too Chicken to Plunge)

1. Ticket purchasers must be at least 18 years of age and resident of Ontario

2. Tickets are 1 for $20. 2400 tickets will be maximum tickets sold

3. Tickets will be available online only at : Prize Raffle | Raffle Nexus Canada Inc

4. Tickets will be sold using an electronic raffle system supplied by Raffle Nexus Canada Inc.

5. The winner the of the Grand Prize will have the prize delivered at no charge to any municipal address within the City Greater Sudbury. If the winner does not have an address in Greater Sudbury, the winner is responsible for picking up the prize at the following location, 2233 Radar Rd, Hanmer, ON P3P 0B4, known as Krucker Saunas.

All other prizes will be shipped to the winners.

There will be one (1) Early Bird Draw, the deadline of eligibility is January 9th, 2026, at 11:59pm.
• The Early Bird Prize will be drawn at 12:00pm on January 12th, 2026.
• The Early Bird Prize is a custom fabricated fire pit valued at $500.
• It is possible for the same ticket number to win the Early Bird Prizes and the Grand Prize.
• The Early Bird winner will be drawn electronically through Raffle Nexus Canada Inc

The Final Draw for raffle prizes will be on Saturday March 7th, 2026, at 1:00pm at 206 Ramsay Lake Road, Sudbury, Ontario, P3E 5J1

Prizes will be raffled as follows

Prize 1
Krucker Sauna, 6-person sauna, retail value of $8000

Prize 2
Custom Fire Pit Manufactured by Moran Fabricating Ltd, retail value of $1000

Prize 3
Smart TV, 43” FHD TV, retail value of $300

6. After buying, purchasers will receive a confirmation email with their registered numbers from a Random Selection System. No specific numbers can be given as numbers are generated randomly.

7. The winning ticket numbers will be selected by a Random Number Generation (RNG) system from all raffle numbers sold for the draw.

8. A representative of Special Olympics – Sudbury, will contact the winners by phone and/or email.

9. The winner(s) will be announced online at www.gsps.ca, & on Special Olympics – Sudbury Facebook account.

10. The winner must provide his/her name, address, and phone number with picture identification for verification.

11. The winning ticket holders have 6 months to claim their prize from the date of the draw. Unclaimed prizes will be reported, and a charitable allocation will be approved by AGCO.

12. Regulations prohibit the following persons and their immediate families residing in the same household from purchasing a ticket: Special Olympics – Sudbury Board of Directors and Staff employees of Raffle Nexus Canada Inc and members of licensed gaming suppliers providing services to the Lottery.

Cause

Special Olympics Ontario – Sudbury, has more that 350 registered athletes who enjoy over 25 different sports throughout the year. Funds raised are used to cover the cost of transportation, accommodations & meals.
